These terms govern your Her Frontier Dinners membership — from the moment you complete the questionnaire at quiz.herfrontier.ai and pay, through verification, the members area, and every dinner you join. They're written to be read, not to be survived.
Your contract is with Olly Kovalieva, operating as Her Frontier, Lisbon, Portugal. Questions about these terms or your membership: join@herfrontier.ai. How we handle your data is covered by the dinners privacy policy, and behaviour at the table by the Code of Conduct.
01What you're buying
Her Frontier Dinners is a curation and matchmaking membership. While you're a member, we review who joins, match you to small women-only dinner tables in Lisbon based on your questionnaire, arrange the reservation, and give you access to the members area and community. You choose which dinners to book; dinners are included in your membership, but the meal itself — what you eat and drink at the restaurant — is your own arrangement with the venue and is paid by you unless we say otherwise for a specific dinner.
We are not a restaurant, an events agency, or a hospitality provider, and we don't promise any particular outcome — a specific guest list, a friendship, a business connection, or a booked-out calendar of dinners in any given week.
02Who can join
Her Frontier Dinners is for women, including trans women, aged 18 or over. Dinners take place in venues that serve alcohol. Applying means confirming you meet both conditions.
03Application & verification
Payment happens before verification — that's how the funnel works — so verification is the condition your membership starts under:
- After payment, you submit a link to a public profile (LinkedIn, Instagram, or a personal site). A person on our team reviews it, normally within 24 hours.
- Admission is at our reasonable discretion. If we can't verify your profile, we'll email you, and you can reply with more context or ask us to look again.
- If we decline your application, we cancel your membership and refund everything you've paid for it. That is the whole remedy — declining an application isn't a judgment about you as a person.
04Plans, billing & renewal
Prices, currencies, and any introductory discounts are shown at checkout, and what you see at checkout is what applies. All plans renew automatically until you cancel:
- 1-week intro — a one-time introductory payment for your first week. Unless you cancel before the week ends, your membership continues as a monthly subscription at the standard monthly price shown at checkout.
- Monthly and 3-month plans — renew at the end of each period at the standard price for that plan. A discounted first period, where offered, applies to that first period only.
Renewal charges use the payment method you provided at checkout, processed by Stripe. If a renewal payment fails and can't be retried, your membership ends at the end of the paid period.
05Cancelling
Cancel anytime by emailing join@herfrontier.ai from the address on your account — we'll confirm within one business day, and your cancellation counts from the moment you sent it. Cancellation stops future renewals; your access and any booked seats continue to the end of the period you've already paid for.
If you're a consumer in the EU, EEA, or UK, you also have a statutory 14-day right of withdrawal on your first payment. By joining, you ask us to start the service straight away; if you withdraw within the 14 days, we refund proportionately for the part of the period you didn't use.
06Refunds
- Declined verification — full refund, always.
- Withdrawal in the first 14 days — proportionate refund, as above.
- After that — we don't refund a period that has started. Cancel and you simply won't be charged again.
- Missed dinners — a reserved seat you can't use should be cancelled in your cabinet so another woman can take it. Missing a dinner doesn't extend your membership or create a refund.
- Our mistakes — duplicate charges, a purchase you didn't make, or anything we've genuinely broken: write to olly@herfrontier.ai and we'll sort it out within 5 business days.
Nothing here limits rights you have under mandatory consumer law in your own country.
07Dinners & reservations
- Tables are small and seats are limited; reservations are first-come within your membership.
- The restaurant is revealed before the dinner. We may change the venue, time, or date, or cancel a dinner — if we cancel one you're booked on, we'll tell you as soon as we can and you keep your membership benefits; a cancelled dinner doesn't create a refund of membership fees.
- If you can't come, cancel your seat in the cabinet as early as you can. Repeated no-shows take seats from other women and may limit your future bookings.
08Your conduct
The Code of Conduct applies at every dinner and in the community. Serious or repeated violations — harassment, discrimination, making other guests unsafe — may lead to suspension or removal without refund. If anything at a dinner made you feel unsafe, tell us at olly@herfrontier.ai; we read and act on every report.
09Our role & liability
A dinner is a private social gathering of independent adults at an independent venue. We curate and match the table and arrange the reservation — we don't control, and to the extent permitted by law accept no liability for, what happens at or after a dinner: the conversations, the connections that do or don't form, other guests' behaviour, or the venue's food, drink, service, and premises, which remain the restaurant's responsibility. Each guest is responsible for her own conduct, choices, and belongings.
To the extent permitted by law, our total liability to you is limited to the amount you've paid us in the previous 12 months. Nothing in these terms excludes liability that cannot be excluded under Portuguese or EU law.
10Changes to the service & these terms
We may evolve the membership — cities, cadence, member benefits — and will announce material changes in advance. We may update these terms; material changes will be emailed to members and posted here with a new "Last updated" date. Continued membership after changes means you accept them. Price changes never apply retroactively and take effect from your next renewal at the earliest, announced before you're charged.
11Governing law
These terms are governed by the laws of Portugal, and disputes will be resolved in the courts of Lisbon — except where consumer protection law gives you the right to your home jurisdiction.
