Her Frontier is a room we build together. This code describes how we treat each other inside it. It applies to all spaces — chat, live sessions, events, DMs between members, and anywhere you represent Her Frontier publicly.
01What we stand for
We're here because building with AI is easier — and more fun — in a room that takes you seriously. That means a room where questions are welcome, progress is celebrated, critique is constructive, and nobody has to perform confidence they haven't earned yet.
02Expected behaviour
- Assume good intent. Ask before you accuse. Give context when you correct.
- Be generous with what you know. Share your stumbles, not just your wins.
- Credit sources. If an idea came from a member, a book, or a tool — say so.
- Keep community content in the community. What's shared in chat, stays in chat, unless the person gives permission to quote.
- Show up for each other. Reply to intros, cheer each other's ships, offer the feedback you'd want.
03Not acceptable
- Harassment, bullying, or intimidation — in public channels or DMs.
- Sexist, racist, homophobic, transphobic, ableist, or otherwise discriminatory speech.
- Sexual content or advances unrelated to the work.
- Outing someone's identity, employer, location, or anything else they haven't chosen to share.
- Doxxing, sharing screenshots, or quoting members externally without consent.
- Unauthorised promotion — pitching your course, service, or product without our consent. (Talk to us first; there are channels for legitimate sharing.)
- Scraping or republishing community content, including via AI training.
- Impersonating other members, Her Frontier staff, or third parties.
04If something happens
If you witness or experience a breach of this code, tell us. You can:
- Email olly@herfrontier.ai — this reaches Olly directly.
- DM an admin in the community chat.
We treat reports confidentially. You don't need to have "enough evidence" — a single concern is enough to start a conversation. You won't be retaliated against for raising something in good faith.
05How we respond
We take each report seriously. Depending on severity and context, responses may include:
- A private conversation and request to adjust behaviour.
- A formal warning, recorded.
- Temporary suspension from community spaces.
- Permanent removal and refund-free cancellation.
- Reporting to authorities, in cases involving threats or illegal conduct.
We aim to be proportionate. Repeated or severe breaches move faster up this list.
06Appeals
If you believe we've handled something unfairly, email olly@herfrontier.ai with "Appeal" in the subject line. We'll review and respond within 14 days.
07Changes
This code will evolve with the community. Material updates will be announced in the community and posted here with a new "Last updated" date.
